Hope Health Center Project
Posted November 6, 2016
Third is collecting money for Hope Health Center's Thanksgiving Basket Outreach. Each basket contains at 10-12 lb turkey, plus all the other trimmings for a Thanksgiving meal. To contribute to this effort, make your check payable to Third Presbyterian Church with "Hope Health Center" on the memo line.
We also need volunteer families to assemble and deliver the baskets on November 19th at 9am. One volunteer family would deliver baskets to 2-3 homes. Contact the church office with questions or to sign up.
Service of Lessons & Carols
Posted November 7, 2016 by David Berg
The service will be lead by the youth and children of our church as we prepare for the Advent Season. These services involve the reading of Scripture lessons followed by the singing of Christmas carols that trace the Advent narrative from Creation through the Nativity. We hope you will join us for this special time of worship!

New Sermon Series: "Trusting God"
Posted August 30, 2016, by Dr. Richard Trucks
The theme of this series is found in Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD,
Plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
We are living in a world of chaos and uncertainty. The Christian principles upon which our country was founded are being set aside by the political leaders both nationally and locally. All of this causes fear and anxiety in the hearts of both believers in Christ and non-believers. The purpose of this series is to study the Scriptures to be reminded that God is still in control and He is carrying out the plan He made before the foundation of the world was laid. The solution for calming our fears and anxieties is to trust in God, who is sovereign in all matters of life and to realize the truth of Jeremiah 29:11.
If you desire Biblical understanding of our time and to have your fears and anxieties calmed please join us for worship each Sunday morning at 10:25.
Kairos Event at Elmore Prison
Posted September 15, 2016
Thank you to those who supported the rececent outreach at Elmore Prison in proficing meals and placemats drawn by our Children's Ministry. The meals were like banquets to them and the placemats were taken back to decorate their cells and will serve as a treasured memory. It was awesome to see many transformed lives who openely confessed Christ by Sunday afternoon.
Meet Our Nursery Staff
Posted August 4, 2016
Every Sunday, both in the morning and evening, we have excellent nursery workers.
Beth and Shelby have been working in our nursery for a few years. We are very grateful for the love and care they show our children.
